An en experienced PLC and HMI programmer Five or more years of experience Previous employment in an industrial plant or in an automation service firm Comfortable with independent work and in a multi-disciplinary team Experienced with the design and on-site work

Qualifying Skills  

Practical knowledge of industrial electrical systems Good knowledge of Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon or Omron PLCs and HMIs Good knowledge of the electrical Safety Code Some knowledge of CAD Some knowledge of robotics Good verbal communication skills

Responsibilities 

Design electrical control systems for manufacturing and processing plants Develop PLC programs and HMI applications Enter and commission programs on site Produce documentation Oversee production of CAD diagrams Manage engineering improvement projects  

 Location

Company office, Barrie, occasional travel of 1- to 2-hour driving distance ... Alternative: Site Engagements at Client sites, in GTA or Central Ontario
