A generalist Professional Engineer enjoying a variety of diverse projects Four or more years of experience Previous employment at an industrial plant or a consulting engineering office Comfortable with independent work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team Experienced with project management of engineering projects

Qualifying Skills  

Practical knowledge of mechanical systems in industrial manufacturing & processing plants General knowledge of HVAC Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Understanding of mechanisms and machinery Basic knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes Familiarity with construction contracts Cultivated communication skills

Responsibilities 

Design modifications to mechanical systems for a wide variety of applications, especially industrial manufacturing Define project terms of reference Oversee production of designs by CETs and CAD drafters Communicate with the clients Resolve conflicts Oversee implementation   This position is also available as a Site Engagement

 Location

Company office in Barrie, occasional travel of 1- to 2-hour driving distance. Alternative: Site Engagements at Client sites, in GTA or Central Ontario
